WHAT IS A MATRICULA UPDATED***

MATRICULA CONSULAR ...KNOW WHAT THAT IS?     IN TWELVE STATES IT IS ID!

IN THIRTEEN STATES YOU CAN DRIVE WITH IT! SO THAT MUST MEAN YOU CAN
PURCHASE INSURANCE WITH IT?

M.C.A.S. its called.. IS AN ID CARD GIVEN TO MEXICAN NATIONALS LIVING OUTSIDE OF MEXICO GIVEN TO THEM BY THE MEXICAN CONSULT.

IN 2002 SEVERAL US STATES BEGAN ACCEPTING THE ID CARDS. BANKS MOSTLY.

IN SEPT. 2004 CONGRESS DENIED A MOTION TO PREVENT FINANCIAL INS. FROM ACCEPTING THEM AS ID.

IN CALIFORNIA AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CAN PURCHASE A VEHICLE  AND INSURE THE CAR WITH THE MATRICULA.

AN AMERICAN WITHOUT A DRIVERS LICENSE CAN NOT PURCHASE NOR INSURE A VEHICLE!

I THINK WE AS AMERICANS BETTER TAKE A LOOK AT OUR LAWS AND MAKE SURE

THAT EVERYTHING WE SAY AND DO MATCH WITH HOW WE WANT TO RUN OUR COUNTRY!

update: 2012

***An important bill is now before the California Senate that will affect every Notary in the state.

Assembly Bill 442 would add the Mexican Matricula Consular card to the list of acceptable documents used to establish the identity of persons seeking notarizations. The card is issued by the Mexican government to its citizens residing abroad for use as identification.

Unfortunately, the Matricula Consular card does not include certain elements that would make it acceptable as verifiable identification (as the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice pointed out in testimony before Congress in 2003). For example, while the card includes a photograph and signature, it does not include a physical description.

While the Mexican government claims that since 2002, it has taken significant measures to upgrade the security of the card, the National Notary Association recently received confirmation from the FBI saying that the Bureau's view of the Matricula card has not changed since the original 2003 testimony and that their strong concerns about the card's security continue.

The official analysis of the bill on the California State Assembly's Website states that the procedures and documents used to obtain the card are also open to question (e.g., birth certificates in Mexico can easily be forged). Additionally, state law already allows a Mexican driver's license or passport to be used as acceptable forms of identification for notarizations, and these are preferable.

The bill has passed in the Assembly and is now up for a vote in the Senate.

Similar legislation passed in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and was vetoed by the governor. I expect he would veto it again based on the federal real id act.
You would have thought that outlawing Matricula s after 9/11 would have been a no-brainer. Instead, terrorists posing as illegal aliens can board airplanes.
Consular cards allows non-citizens who are in the country illegally to use identification documents issued by foreign governments for the express purpose of bypassing the United States security laws.

Illegal aliens abuse of the Matricula Consular undermines immigration policy and weakens the mechanisms that congress put in place after 9/11 to safeguard American businesses and financial institutions against fraud and abuse; and more importantly to save lives.

Unlike state issued driver's licenses, local law enforcement cannot verify the information contained on the Matricula with a state database because none exists

WHERES OUR RESPONSIBILITY?

Hiroshima 65 years later: US attends ceremony, but offers no apology - CSMonitor.comhttp://www.csmonitor.com/World/Asia-Pacific/2010/0806/Hiroshima-65-years-later-US-attends-ceremony-but-offers-no-apology

TODAY IS THE 65th ANNIVERSARY OF HIROSHIMA.

WHERE ARE WE ?

WHAT IS OUR RESPONSE TO WHAT WE DID?

WHERES OUR RIGHT TO PADDLE?

DID YOU KNOW THAT TWENTY-TWO STATES HERE IN THE US STILL ALLOW PADDLING
IN SCHOOLS! THEY EVEN ALLOW FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES TO BE
PADDLED!

I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA,WE CAN NOT USE CORPORAL PUNISHMENT, I CHECKED
MANY TIMES AS MINE GREW UP! LETS SAY IF I WAS TO USE THE BELT, I WOULD
GO TO JAIL!
IF YOU WERE TO SLAP A TEENAGER  WHO'S MOUTH COMPLETELY DESERVED IT,
AGAIN, YOU THE PARENT WOULD GO TO JAIL!

NOW DO YOU THINK THAT THE PARENTS IN THOSE TWENTY-TWO STATES GET TO
PUT HANDS ON THEIR KIDS?  OR IS IT ONLY THE EDUCATORS WHO DECIDE IF
CORPORAL PUNISHMENT IS THE BEST OPTION FOR A CHILD?

NOW US CONGRESS WOMAN CAROLYN MCCARTHY ALONG WITH THE A.C.L.U.
IS LEADING A BILL "THE ENDING OF CORPORAL PUNISHMENT IN SCHOOLS ACT"
TO DO AWAY WITH ALL PADDLING IN U.S. SCHOOLS!

IN APRIL, A TEXAS CITY VOTED TO RE INSTITUTE PADDLING, THIS STORY WAS      CARRIED BY THE WASHINGTON POST AND NOW HERE WE ARE.

I FOUND A CODE OF CONDUCT SCHOOL ISSUE FROM ALEXANDER  AL SCHOOL.
THE SCHOOL YEAR IS 2010-2011

CORPORAL PUNISHMENT

As a last resort method to maintain discipline or to enforce school rules prior to expulsion, a

principal or designate may administer corporal punishment (paddling) through moderate use of

physical force or physical contact. Such punishment shall be administered under conditions

which do not hold the student to ridicule or shame and which punishment is never in the

presence of other students. No student is required to submit to corporal punishment.

A student's parent/guardian may make a written request that his/her child be exempted from

corporal punishment and that an alternative punishment be given that is acceptable to the

54

principal. If an alternative is acceptable to the principal but is not effective, the use of corporal

punishment may be reinstated with or without the student's parent/guardian consent.

The procedures listed below must be followed to guarantee proper and legally required due

process on behalf of the student:

1. The student must have been informed previously that his/her behavior could bring

about the use of corporal punishment.

2. Prior to corporal punishment, initial efforts and/or alternative methods should be

taken in an attempt to modify the student's behavior.

3. The administration of corporal punishment must occur in the presence of another

certified employee, but only after:

a. the school employee is informed about the reasons for punishment in the

presence of the student;

b. the student is given the opportunity to deny or admit his/her guilt; and

c. it has been determined that the instrument to be used to corporal punish is

appropriate for the age and physical size of the student being punished.

4. No more than three licks shall be administered to a student's buttocks.

5. Whenever corporal punishment is administered, a written report shall be made and a

copy forwarded to the child's parent/guardian.

6. No instrument shall be used that might produce physical injury to the student, no part

of the body above or below the buttocks may be struck, and the number of strokes

and severity thereof shall be reasonable and moderate.

7. Only paddles are to be used in administering corporal punishment and are to be

made from a general and smooth wood product and conformed to the following

maximum sizes per dimension: Grades K-6: Length 7 1/2", Width 3 1/2", Thickness

1/4", and Handle Length 4". Grades 7-12: Length 13", Width 5", Thickness 3/8", and

Handle Length 4".

WHERES THE RESPECT?

I WAS WATCHING MY FAVORITE NEWS SHOW AC 360 LAST NIGHT, THEY WERE DISCUSSING THE ISLAMIC CENTER PLANS. NOW PEOPLE ARE UPSET WITH ITS
LOCATION SO CLOSE TO "GROUND CENTRAL". THE GUEST WAS RICK LAZIO,
HE IS RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK ON THE REPUBLICAN TICKET.
SO IT WISE OF HIM TO TAKE THE POPULAR STANCE! HE KEPT SAYING THAT THEY
WERE NOT SHOWING RESPECT FOR OUR FEELINGS OF WHAT HAPPENED ON 9/11.

WHERE WAS THE RESPECT FOR THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITY WHEN SOUTH PARK
WAS ATTEMPTING TO PICTURE ITS HOLIEST PROPHET WHICH IS FORBIDDEN IN
THEIR CULTURE!

I WAS ALWAYS TAUGHT RESPECT WAS A TWO WAY STREET!

IF WE DON'T CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER, NO ONE CARES ABOUT US!
